Omni Sponsors Innovation at Recent M2D2 Conference

The Omni Team is ever proud of our partnership with Massachusetts Medical Device Development at UMass Lowell. In a recent shark tank style contest, M2D2 awarded $100,000 in prize to Massachusetts innovators. Scientists, innovators, engineers and doctors all came together to attempt to make Lowell the medical innovation capitol of Massachusetts. UMass Lowell’s Chancellor Martin T. Meehan recently communicated with Omni:

“Thank you for your recent gift to the M2D2 Discretionary Fund. Those of us, who are privileged to spend our days on campus, working and learning, as well as those who come to visit, see the results of your generosity every day. Your gift is a vote of confidence in our university, our mission and most importantly, our students.

As you know, UMass Lowell is experiencing a period of unprecedented growth: increased national recognition, new facilities and innovative research, greater student success and so much more. We take great pride in the M2D2 center’s role in the growth and success of early-stage companies and individual entrepreneurs. M2D2 provides incubator and lab space as well as access to world-class researchers and state-of-the-art equipment. Your gift ensures that this legacy will continue and that our students have access to the resources they need to become the next generation of innovators and versatile professionals needed by industry and society/ thank you for the role you play in this monumental transformation.

On behalf of all those who benefit from your support, I extend my sincere gratitude. If I can be of any assistance to you in the future, please do not hesitate to contact me.”

The Omni Team is honored to be a part of such and innovative and motivated group of individuals. We look forward to seeing the future of Medical Innovation flourish within the M2D2 program.
